Job Position: Business Development Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. He/She will be at the front of the company and be dedicated to creating and applying an effective sales strategy.
  2. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong client relationships.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  2. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  3. Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  4. Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  5. Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  6. Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
  7. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  8. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  9. Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  10. Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  11. Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  12. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  13. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  14. Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  15. Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience
  16. Utilize the strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
  17. Instrument conversion points and optimizes user funnels

Job Requirements

  1. Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields.
  2. Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role
  3. Proven sales track record.
  4. Experience in customer support is a plus.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
  6. Proficiency in English.
  7. Market knowledge.
  8. Communication and negotiation skills.
  9. Ability to build rapport.
  10. Time management and planning skills.
  11. Proven working experience in digital marketing.
  12. Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  13. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  14. Arrange business meetings, attend them and close out businesses with prospective clients.
