Job Position: Business Development Manager

Job Location: Jakande, Lekki, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities to meet and exceed Annual Business Plan Targets.
  2. Conduct extensive mapping of the assigned region to identify potential clients for Internet Leased Line and other products & services.
  3. Create comprehensive mapping of Potential & Existing Accounts and establish a rapport with C-Level Executives.
  4. Understand client needs, offer solutions and support, answer potential client questions, and follow-up call questions; respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs).
  5. Collaborate with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
  6. Develop informative presentations; present and deliver information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.
  7. Create and maintain a list/database of prospective clients; maintain a database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.
  8. Conduct cold calling; make multiple outbound calls to potential clients; close sales and work with the client through the closing process.
  9. Meet all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meet or exceed annual sales goals.
  10. Maintain a healthy pipeline/funnel of all sales administration using CRM software.
  11. Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintain short- and long-term business development plans.
  12. Coordinate with Support Teams and ensure the customer’s issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  13. Ensure collections of receivables are achieved as per the set targets.

  1. Head of Department (HOD)/Chief Information Officer (CIO)/Managing Director (MD).
  2. Head of Business Development Department.
  3. Head of Customer Care Department.
  4. Head of Project Management Department.
  5. Customers of Global Solutions.

Skills Required:

  1. Fair knowledge of Telecom Technologies, including Internet Bandwidth & Leased Circuits, Smart Solutions & Internet of Things (IoT), and Internet Broadband.
  2. B2B experience with a minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience in a Telecommunications Company or Internet Service Provider with a fair knowledge of Internet Leased Lines, Leased.
  3. Excellent communication skills – Oral & Written.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  5. Active listening and problem-solving skills.
  6. Time Management skills.
  7. Critical thinking skills.
  8. Ability to identify potential leads.
  9. Ability to communicate with managers, directors, VPs, CXOs.
  10. Sales negotiation skills.
  11. Knowledge of Line, Home Broadband, FTTH, FTTX, VoIP, IPTV, and Telecommunications Operations.
  12. Ability to create a strong positioning of Organization, Management, and self.
  13. Working knowledge of CRM like Salesforce, HUBSPOT, etc.
  14. Knowledge of sales management, marketing, strategic management, and business planning.
  15. Ability to do continuous follow-ups with multiple collaborators.
  16. Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  17. Prior experience working with the Telecommunication Business Development Department.

Job Requirements

  1. Master’s in Business Management or equivalent degree.
  2. NYSC Certified.

Salary
N125,000 – N200, 000 (Monthly) plus other benefits
