Job Position: Business Development Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive landscapes within the Oil and Gas sector.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company’s presence in the Oil and Gas market, including setting revenue targets and growth objectives.
  3. Generate and nurture leads through networking, industry events, and other channels to identify potential business opportunities.
  4. Oversee the end-to-end bid and tender process, including bid strategy development, document preparation, risk assessment, and submission to secure contracts.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
  6. Lead cross-functional teams in the creation of high-quality, competitive, and compliant bid proposals.
  7. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements with clients while ensuring alignment with company goals and policies.
  8. Effectively manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets to ensure the successful execution of business development initiatives.
  9. Analyze project budgets and financial data to make informed decisions and ensure profitability.
  10. Identify potential risks associated with business development efforts and implement strategies to mitigate them.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  2. Minimum of [6] years of experience in business development and bid & tender management within the Oil and Gas industry.
  3. Proven track record of securing contracts and driving revenue growth.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software.
  6. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
