Job Position: Business Development Manager – Event Security

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. The Business Development Manager-Event Security is charged with driving revenue growth and expansion including new and existing products and services; identifying new business opportunities, markets, partnerships and strategic relationships; supporting the development of new solutions; and ensuring business targets in revenue, customer acquisition, profitability etc. are achieved.
  2. The jobholder will lead business development; design and implement sales and business development strategies and plans for the achievement of business goals; and manage the sales team for optimal performance.
  3. This is a full-time on-site role for an Event Sales Manager located in Lagos. The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for event planning, sales, communication, event management, and private events.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Strategy & Planning: Develop strategies and plans for the delivery of revenue target in line with the
  2. Halogen’s strategic plans. Drive strategy execution for strong business performance. Identify and explore opportunities for growth and business expansion in the regions and public sector.
  3. Business Development & Management: Provide strategic leadership and oversight for sales and business development and drive market leadership. Drive business growth across key performance indicators including revenue, profitability, customer acquisition etc. Drive public sector engagement and business expansion. Leverage business insights and analytics to develop best fit market engagement strategies
  4. Marketing: Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies, materials and campaigns
  5. Networking, Client & Stakeholder Management: Build strategic relationships, partnerships and alliances to facilitate the attainment of business goals and ensure client satisfaction and retention. Engage
  6. and manage internal and external stakeholders for best business outcomes. Develop and maintain strategic, value-adding relationships across a broad sphere of influence. Attend strategic events and present Halogen as a partner of choice.
  7. Team Leadership & Management: Provide direction and leadership to foster shared understanding of the business mandate, goal alignment and high performance. Facilitate development. Coach and mentor.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a Business, Technology or related field.
  2. MBA or related Master’s Degree, and relevant professional certification would be added advantage.
  3. Minimum of eight year Sales and Business Development experience with compelling technology solutions and or cybersecurity sales experience
  4. Sound commercial and digital acumen to effectively drive market engagement and sale of technology/digital products and solutions
  5. Strong track record delivering compelling business results and revenue targets; driving business growth, expansion and customer acquisition; and leading sales and business development for high performance
