Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to generate, recognize and close new business opportunities and sales acumen to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s market share.
  • The role requires building strong and meaningful relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive sustainable growth.
  • This role requires a combination of strategic planning, sales, and market analysis to meet revenue targets and drive the company toward achieving its long-term goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and online research.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, industry influencers and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions that align with business goals and foster long-term business partnerships.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts, track and manage sales opportunities and performance, ensuring they progress through the sales cycle in a timely manner.
  • Prepare compelling and detailed business proposals, including pricing strategies, presentations, and contracts that align with customer needs and company objectives.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to promote the company’s offerings and build connections with potential clients and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with other companies, industry experts, and relevant stakeholders to foster collaboration and growth.
  • Achieve and exceed business development targets and sales goals by executing the company’s business development strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new markets, customer needs, and industry trends to inform business strategy.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, business growth, and strategic insights to senior management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years proven experience in Business Development, Relationship Management or sales.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and networks.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze and forecast market trends.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Proficient in CRM software, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth understanding of sales processes, digital marketing and techniques.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
