Job Position: Branch Manager
Locations: Lagos, Ondo and Oyo

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations, drive business growth, and ensure exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have solid retail banking experience, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record in business development and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage branch operations to ensure compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements.
  2. Drive business development initiatives to increase customer base and revenue.
  3. Oversee credit management processes, including loan approvals and risk assessment.
  4. Manage, coach, and develop branch staff to achieve performance targets.
  5. Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve client issues promptly.
  6. Monitor branch performance, prepare reports, and implement improvement strategies.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2).
  2. Minimum of 5 years’ core retail banking experience, with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  3. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACIB, CIBN) are an added advantage.
  4. Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
  5. Proven track record in business development, credit management, and operational oversight.
  6. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer engagement abilities.
