Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Job Description
- With a high network of connections, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for bringing businesses, identifying sales leads, pitching our Human Resources services to new clients and maintaining a good working relationship with old and new contacts.
- The Business Development Manager will direct, administer, and coordinate business development and marketing activities in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Identifying sales leads, pitching our Human Resources services to old and new clients.
- Following up new business opportunities in HR and setting up meetings.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
- Following up new business opportunities in HR and setting up meetings
- Planning and preparing and making presentations to Clients
- Maintain a good working relationship with old and new contacts.
- Providing management with feedback.
Job Requirement
Education:
- HND / B.Sc / M.Sc in a Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or relevant field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years experience working as a Business Development Manager for a top Human Resources consulting firm.
- Candidate must demonstrate self-confidence, love networking and enjoy presenting and public speaking.
Skills Required:
- Good business sense.
- A deep understanding of marketing principles.
- Good communication skills.
- A positive attitude.
- Negotiation skills.
- Plenty of initiative.
Languages:
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt to a variety of stakeholders are required.
Salary
N250,000 monthly (gross) plus commission on businesses.
