Job Position: Business Development Manager (Digital Business & Partnership)

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop a comprehensive digital business strategy aligned with the overall business goals of the bank.
  2. Identify and analyze digital trends and opportunities within the Nigerian microfinance landscape.
  3. Identify and build strategic partnerships with fintech companies, payment companies, telecommunications providers, NGOs, and other relevant organizations.
  4. Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that are mutually beneficial.
  5. Manage and maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring successful collaboration and value creation.
  6. Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to generate leads and acquire new clients.
  7. Manage and oversee the performance of digital sales channels and products.
  8. Analyze customer data and market trends to identify new business opportunities in the digital space.
  9. Set and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for digital business growth and partnership success.
  10. Regularly monitor and analyze the performance of digital initiatives and partnerships.
  11. Generate reports and present findings to the board and management regarding digital business performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, digital marketing, or a relevant field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital business strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian microfinance landscape and digital financial services (DFS) ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools.
