Job Description
- Plays a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of the company in Lagos. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager role requires a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a proven track record in sales, business development, and relationship management within the real estate industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats in the Lagos real estate market.
- Business Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and enhance the company’s market presence, focusing on target market segments and customer profiles.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Generate leads through diverse channels such as networking, referrals, cold calling, and digital marketing, nurturing a robust pipeline to support sales growth and revenue targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain relationships with key clients, investors, and industry stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact and providing tailored solutions to meet their real estate needs.
- Proposal Development and Presentation: Create and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, customizing offerings to address their specific requirements and objectives.
- Negotiation and Deal Closure: Negotiate terms of real estate transactions, including sales and leasing agreements, collaborating with internal teams to finalize contracts and ensure seamless transaction processes.
- Networking and Industry Engagement: Expand professional networks within the real estate industry, participating in industry events and representing the company to enhance visibility and brand awareness.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Forecast sales projections, analyze sales data, and prepare regular reports for management, evaluating the effectiveness of business development strategies and initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or related fields; MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.
- Proven track record in real estate business development, sales, or marketing, consistently meeting revenue targets.
- In-depth understanding of the Lagos real estate market, including trends, players, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, adept at influencing stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, devising innovative business strategies.
- Results-driven mindset focused on exceeding performance goals.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software for sales management.
