Job Position: Business Development Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The BDM will be responsible for researching companies that fit our targeting criteria, identifying key decision-makers, securing Sales Qualified Appointments (SQAs) and, selectively, assisting in moving qualified leads through the sales funnel to a successful close.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement sales strategy
  2. Generate new business and cold calling prospective clients
  3. Attract new clients
  4. Research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects
  5. Making sales projections and forecasting revenue
  6. Increase profitability by building strategic partnerships
  7. Nurture and develop relationships with key business accounts
  8. Make strategic business decisions
  9. Negotiate contracts
  10. Develop quotes and proposals for clients
  11. Training sales personal team and helping develop their skills
  12. Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
  13. Partner with operations manager to ensure completion of campaigns
  14. Work closely with stakeholders daily
  15. Meeting and exceed sales goals and KPI’s
  16. Use Hubspot CRM to track sales leads
  17. Within first 30 days generate 2-3 strong sales leads with the intent to close sales
  18. Keep shared calendars, spreadsheets, and project trackers updated with current information
  19. Coordinating cross-channel communication including email, direct mail, SMS, and social

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of marketing
  • 5+ years of sales, business to business plus
  • Background in sales, brand development, or marketing
  • Customer service orientated
  • 1+ year in the OOH (Out of Home) advertising industry working for a marketing, advertising or media agency
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Inbound sales method to generate leads
  • Digital Marketing experience plus
