Job Position: Business Development Manager

Position Summary

As part of our strategic repositioning, we are seeking to engage the services of an experienced Business Development Manager who will play a pivotal role in strengthening our business structure, driving revenue growth, and building a high-performing digital marketing team.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies aimed at expanding the agency’s market share, enhancing operational efficiency, and increasing profitability.

The role requires a highly motivated professional with strong expertise in sales, marketing, and business development who can work with minimal supervision and deliver measurable results.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve organisational objectives.
  2. Review, refine, and strengthen the agency’s business and operational structure.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  4. Lead client acquisition efforts, including prospecting, pitching, contract negotiations, and closing deals.
  5. Establish and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
  6. Build, mentor, and manage a digital marketing team capable of delivering high-quality client solutions.
  7. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
  8. Prepare regular business performance reports for management.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline. A postgraduate degree (MBA) will be an added advantage.
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in business development, sales, or marketing management, preferably within a digital marketing agency or related industry.
  3. Proven track record of business growth and client acquisition.
  4. Strong knowledge of business structuring, sales strategy, and marketing execution.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  6. Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience in team building.
  7. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
