Job Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth, expand market presence, and build strong client relationships for a fast-growing software company based in Victoria Island.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software solutions, a strong sales background, and a passion for technology-driven business growth.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company revenue targets.
  2. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments for software products and services.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key decision-makers.
  4. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide business strategy.
  5. Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals, bids, and client pitches.
  6. Collaborate with the technical team to align product offerings with market needs.
  7. Negotiate and close deals to drive consistent business growth.
  8. Monitor and report on business performance, sales pipeline, and key metrics.
  9. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.

Requirements & Qualifications

  1. B.Sc. / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 4 – 6 years of relevant experience in business development or sales, preferably within the IT/software industry.
  3. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  4. Strong understanding of software solutions, SaaS, and IT products.
  5. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  6. Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Remuneration

  1. Net Salary: N400,000 monthly
  2. Attractive performance-based incentives.
