Job Description

  1. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team as a key player in driving the growth and expansion of our company.
  2. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships to enhance our market presence and revenue streams.
  3. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify and Evaluate Opportunities: Research and identify potential business opportunities through market analysis, industry trends, and competitive landscape assessment.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
  3. New Client Acquisition: Actively seek out and engage prospective clients, presenting our company’s value proposition and tailoring solutions to their specific requirements.
  4. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop business development strategies aligned with the company’s growth goals and objectives.
  5. Proposal and Pitch Creation: Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches that effectively communicate our strengths, capabilities, and benefits to clients.
  6. Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations to secure profitable business deals, ensuring win-win outcomes for both the company and the clients.
  7. Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging market opportunities to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  8. Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships that can mutually enhance market reach, product offerings, and revenue streams.
  9. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track and analyze business development metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to improve strategies and achieve targets.
  10. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
  11. Networking and Industry Participation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand professional contacts and promote brand visibility.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 3 – 5 years working years’ experience.
  • Proven track record of successful business development and client acquisition in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
