Job Position: Sales / Business Development Manager
Job Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Responsible for overseeing daily operations in the sales department and understanding the customer’s needs and pitching the company’s products as suitable solutions.
- Observe customer behavior and predict future needs for product upsell, and cross sell other company`s Products.
- Relay information from upper management to department staff about sales quotas andgenerating leads to divide among Sales Representatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets for assigned business line
- Develop and expand sales pipes and revenue (20% month-on-month growth and 50% respectively)
- Surpass the minimum product and services sales profitability threshold. (minimum threshold is 35% quarterly – exclude platform revenue)
- Drive Services business growth (45% annual growth and revenue achieved)
- Grow revenue from service business (20% year-on-year growth)
- Create new platform related partnerships (create 3 new partners/customers in 12 months)
- Work in collaboration with service management team to ensure existing managed services are scaled
- Establish guiding principles for managing performance, establish and prioritize critical performance measures for all sales activities
- Provide leadership to the sales/business development team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behaviour
- Communicate status, plans and campaigns regarding all aspects of sales and Business Development, and ensure up to date weekly, monthly and quarterly sales and opportunity report
- Produce weekly and monthly sales engagement plan, outlining both ongoing and proposed activities, customer visits, revenue status, and revenue forecast
Job Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: B.Sc / HND
- Experience Length: 5 Years
- Experience of working in a technology services organization.
- Experience in managing sales projects
- Experience in customer services operations and engagement
- Business capability modeling and customer journey mapping techniques.
- Demonstrated experience of influencing key stakeholders across the organization and within complex contexts
