Job Description
- You will conduct comprehensive market research and analysis, providing actionable insights to drive business strategies. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely. You will provide critical insights into the market environment, helping businesses investigate issues, make informed decisions to provide solutions and implement them internally and externally.
Job Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and execute marketing strategies, including B2B social media and general marketing efforts.
- Market Research: Identify trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape through thorough market research.
- Data Analysis: Define and deliver metrics, reporting platforms, dashboards, and analytical models. Proficient in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct a SWOT analysis to assess competitors and understand competitive positioning.
- Customer Insights: Gather and interpret data on customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviors. Create visualizations and dashboards.
- Forecasting: Predict future market trends, demands, and risks.
- Identifying Opportunities: Research and identify new business opportunities, including markets, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
- Strategic Planning & Development: Develop and execute business development strategies and plans. Work on B2B social media and general marketing.
- Strategic Recommendations: Provide market analysis-based recommendations. Identify market risks and opportunities.
- Aligning Business and Market Strategies: Ensure business activities are informed by market insights.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to align business strategies with market trends.
- Performance Monitoring: Evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies. Track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Continuous Learning and Adaptation: Stay updated on industry trends and improve methodologies.
- Market Entry Strategies: Develop go-to-market plans and partnership models.
- Reporting: Compile reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Consultation: Provide expert advice on market opportunities and growth initiatives.
- Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results on time.
- Brand Management: Enhance and maintain the company’s brand identity.
- Performance Metrics: Track and analyze KPIs for business development and marketing activities.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s Degree (MBA or Master’s in Marketing, Data Science, or Business Analytics) is preferred but optional.
- Experience: At least 5 years in business development, market research, or a related field. Consulting experience and industry-specific experience (fintech, technology, or finance) are beneficial.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools (Excel, SQL/ Tableau), advanced computer skills, and proficiency in data.
- Readily available to work from home and for immediate start.
Salary
- N300,000 – N400,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
