Job Description
- We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join our 360-degree marketing and brand communication agency.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the company.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients across various industries and sectors.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, cold outreach, and industry events.
- Develop compelling presentations, proposals, and pitch decks that showcase the agency’s capabilities and value proposition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, digital, media, etc.) to craft tailored solutions for prospective clients.
- Deliver persuasive pitches and presentations to potential clients, addressing their unique challenges and requirements.
- Build strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services or projects.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about agency updates, industry trends, and potential growth opportunities.
- Contribute to the agency’s overall business strategy and growth plans.
- Set and achieve new business development targets and goals.
- Analyze market trends, client feedback, and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth and service expansion.
- Work closely with various agency departments (creative, digital, media, account management, etc.) to develop comprehensive solutions.
- Collaborate with agency leadership to align business development efforts with the agency’s overall vision and objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in branding and marketing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles, preferably in a branding or marketing agency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Knowledge of the local business landscape and industries in Lagos, Nigeria.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving business growth and success.
