Job Description

  1. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join our 360-degree marketing and brand communication agency.
  2. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the company.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Identify and research potential clients across various industries and sectors.
  2. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, cold outreach, and industry events.
  3. Develop compelling presentations, proposals, and pitch decks that showcase the agency’s capabilities and value proposition.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, digital, media, etc.) to craft tailored solutions for prospective clients.
  5. Deliver persuasive pitches and presentations to potential clients, addressing their unique challenges and requirements.
  6. Build strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services or projects.
  7. Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about agency updates, industry trends, and potential growth opportunities.
  8. Contribute to the agency’s overall business strategy and growth plans.
  9. Set and achieve new business development targets and goals.
  10. Analyze market trends, client feedback, and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth and service expansion.
  11. Work closely with various agency departments (creative, digital, media, account management, etc.) to develop comprehensive solutions.
  12. Collaborate with agency leadership to align business development efforts with the agency’s overall vision and objectives.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in branding and marketing.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles, preferably in a branding or marketing agency.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.
  4. Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  7. Knowledge of the local business landscape and industries in Lagos, Nigeria.
  8. Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving business growth and success.
