Job Description

  1. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Officer to join our 360-degree marketing and brand communication agency.
  2. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the company.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Identify and prospect potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries.
  3. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  4. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions. Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
  6. Conduct market analysis and research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities.
  7. Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote the company’s brand and services.
  8. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  9. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics to management.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in branding and marketing.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles, preferably in a branding or marketing agency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the local business landscape and industries in Lagos, Nigeria.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving business growth and success.
