Job Position: Business Development Officer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and other prospecting techniques.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop and prepare highquality proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition of our consulting services.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients to showcase our expertise and capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms to ensure favorable business deals.
  • Track and manage the sales pipeline to ensure efficient and effective sales processes.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, target markets, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with consulting teams to understand their capabilities and develop tailored business solutions.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the consulting industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals.
  • Strong understanding of the consulting industry and its value proposition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN selling, solution selling)
  • Experience in building and managing sales teams.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
