Job Position: Business Development Officer / Tender Specialist
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Description
- Set targets for annual growth and prepare marketing activity plans for the company in line with management’s directives.
- Identify and target potential clients for procurement and manpower services.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Establish strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-up.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition of our procurement services.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of agreements to maximize profitability and secure long-term partnerships with clients and vendors.
- Oversee existing client accounts and ensure satisfaction with services provided.
- Handle any client issues or concerns and provide prompt solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and client needs.
- Provide insights and feedback to improve services and offerings.
- Maintain records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and business development activities.
- Collaborate with all company’s teams (departments) to develop customized procurement solutions that align with client goals.
- Analyse previous and current services to determine how best to sell them to prospective clients.
- Implement sales and business development strategies to ensure revenue growth.
- Acquire new clients/business for the company and follow up prospects for the business.
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly,and annual budgets for the marketing department.
- Have in-depth knowledge of the company’s services to be able to effectively communicate the company’s value to prospects.
- Prepare Tenders/ Technical and Commercial.
- Submit quotes based on RFQS
Job Requirements
- BSC / HND in Engineering from a reputable institution
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role inoil and gas sector
- Excellent analytical skills for evaluating market trends, financial reports, and business performance metrics.
- Strong ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and negotiate deals.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Salary
N150,000 monthly.
