Job Position: Business Development Officer

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with company goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Set long-term objectives and create action plans to meet revenue targets.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Analyze market data to forecast business trends and recommend strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate business expansion opportunities and prepare feasibility studies.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Identify and target potential clients through networking, industry events, and direct outreach.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage ongoing client relationships to ensure satisfaction.

Revenue Growth:

  • Drive revenue growth by expanding the company’s customer base and increasing market share.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement customer acquisition strategies.
  • Create pricing strategies and proposals that align with client needs and profitability targets.

Partnerships and Alliances:

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships that enhance the company’s market positioning.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders such as suppliers, distributors, and business partners.
  • Manage partnerships to ensure long-term value creation.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor the business development team, providing guidance and setting performance targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to achieve business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Reporting and Performance Monitoring.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degree with 2 – 3 years relevant work experience.
