Job Position: Business Development Officer
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the Bank’s goals.
  2. Identify new market opportunities, products, and partnerships.
  3. Drive deposit mobilisation and loan portfolio growth across branches and channels.
  4. Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  5. Set sales targets and KPIs for Relationship Officers and Marketing staff.
  6. Lead, coach, and supervise business development and marketing teams.
  7. Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  8. Ensure effective cross-selling of the Bank’s products and services.
  9. Oversee loan sourcing and ensure quality loan origination.
  10. Review and recommend loan proposals in line with the Bank’s credit policy.
  11. Monitor portfolio performance, including PAR and NPL ratios.
  12. Support recovery efforts on delinquent accounts.
  13. Manage key accounts and high-value relationships.
  14. Build strategic relationships with individuals, SMEs, associations, and cooperatives.
  15. Ensure excellent customer experience and retention.
  16. Ensure all business development activities comply with CBN regulations and internal policies.
  17. Promote strong KYC, AML/CFT, and customer due diligence practices.
  18. Identify and mitigate business and credit risks.

Salary Range
N200,000 – N300,000 / month.
