Job Position: Business Development Officer (Outsourcing)
Job Location: Obanikoro, Lagos
Job Description
- The Business Development officer will be responsible for spearheading the growth strategy of the company, identifying, and securing new business opportunities, and fostering strong client relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record in sales and business development within the consulting industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.
- Identify and prospect potential clients through market research, networking, and targeted outreach efforts.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate with the consulting team to tailor solutions that meet client needs and address specific challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a reputable company
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, or a similar role within the consulting or outsourcing industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and acquiring new clients.
- Strong understanding of consulting services, market dynamics, and client needs within the industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
