We offer personalised one-on-one virtual sessions with experienced tutors, engaging instructor-led Virtual Group Classes, and flexible Self-Paced plans. We’re expanding into the B2B space and seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative to help us build partnerships with schools, NGOs, organisations, and governments.

Job Description

  • As the Business Development Representative, you will drive earlySTEMer’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, securing partnerships, and negotiating deals with schools, NGOs, corporations, and government bodies.
  • You will be responsible for packaging our services to meet the unique needs of these partners and securing sponsorships for our coding programs. Your strategic thinking and relationship-building skills will be essential in expanding our reach and impact.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand earlySTEMer’s B2B footprint.
  • Identify and approach potential partners, including schools, NGOs, corporations, and government agencies.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
  • Customize and package earlySTEMer’s services for delivery in educational institutions and community programs.
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and sponsorship deals for coding programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, tutoring, and operations) to ensure the successful execution of programs.
  • Ensure repeat business and maintain relationships with existing partners, working to expand and renew current deals.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets by driving partnerships and closing deals.
  • Represent earlySTEMer at industry events and conferences to promote our services.
  • Advocate for the benefits of coding education through presentations, workshops, and outreach initiatives.
  • Provide market feedback to inform product development and service offerings.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus).
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably within the education or technology sectors.
  • A strong network in education, NGOs, government bodies, or corporate CSR departments is a plus.
  • Ability to create compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Understanding of STEM education and its value in the current and future job market.
