Job Position: Business Operations Manager

Job Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Our retail redistribution company (a subsidiary of BrandRegimen sfs Ltd) is seeking to hire a Business & Operations Manager to join our leadership team.
  2. He/She is expected to develop, drive, and manage profitable sales growth across the territory for Modern Trade channels within the territory.
  3. Liaise with the Human Resources department in recruiting, when necessary, and help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance.

Job Responsibilities
Drive Modern Trade budget:
Solely responsible for generating revenue for Modern Trade Channel:

  1. Grow and manage a minimum of 30 active roaster clients who are doing business with us per time,
  2. Ensure routine visits to all modern trade partners within and not later than every two weeks.
  3. Ensure the territory achieves profitable sales growth across all sales channels; identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners within assigned territory.
  4. Develop and maintain sales department business plan and sales strategies for the channels to ensure attainment of company sales goals, profitability, and increase of channel partners.
  5. Create and foster a sales culture of accountability and performance
  6. Identify sales revenue trends by client and portfolio; evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements.

Sales Force:

  • Manage the entire business operatives’ performance, temperament and welfare within the defined operational territory.

Stocks & Stock Management:

  1. With sole responsibility for trading stock whether in the warehouse (Main, Strategic depots & Stock vans) or Stock vans, OM will at all times account for stock or its value in Naira.
  2. Ensure and drive strategic stocking & restocking in accordance with constituted inventory management strategy to guard against stock glut on one hand and OOS (out-of-stock) on the other hand.

Direct & Manage:

  1. Business territory operations in entirety falls under the purview of the Manager with clear responsibilities to drive territorial success in line with the overall business strategic drive.
  2. Personnel and operational properties & assets will be managed for performance.

Reporting:

  • Ensure timely rendition of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly sales report

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree.
  2. Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
  3. Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
  4. Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers /executives, partners, and employees.
  5. Excellent communication & peopleskills.
  6. Solid understanding of financial management.
