Job Responsibilities
- Budget Development & Preparation: Lead the budgeting process by collaborating with various departments to gather budget inputs, consolidate financial data, and develop accurate and comprehensive budgets aligned with organizational goals.
- Budget Monitoring and Control: Track and monitor budget performance against actual results, analyze variances, and provide regular reports to management and stakeholders. Implement effective control measures to ensure adherence to the budget.
- Forecasting and Planning: Develop financial forecasts and projections based on historical data, market trends, and business insights. Assist in long-term financial planning and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Business Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational data to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Reporting and Presentation: Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate performance insights, trends, and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting plus ACA. A Master’s Degree in Accounting or MBA is also desirable.
- Proven experience in Management accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and business performance management roles.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting principles and processes.
- Proficiency in financial analysis techniques, financial modelling, and forecasting.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
