Job Title: Business Planning Manager (Private Banking & Wealth Management)

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Proactively ensure that appropriate tracking/follow up mechanisms are in place to monitor the implementation of strategic priorities
  2. Support the Group Executive and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk and compliance issues that have the potential for impacting the Global Private Banking & Wealth Management business and the values of the enterprise.
  3. Monitor the implementation of the business’ short-, medium- and long-term strategic goals and objectives.
  4. Tracking and evaluating performance of all the Business Teams within the Group Executive as required.
  5. Responsible for articulation and communication of the Group’s strategy across the business to ensure that the strategy details are well understood and aligned with all sub-segments or units’ standalone strategies.
  6. Responsible for setting up and coordinating all activities relating to business planning and critical stake holder engagement.
  7. Coordinate and provide leadership for the Business Planning Team; including distribution and monitoring of ad hoc tasks for team members.
  8. Supporting the Group Executive in the development and implementation of specific strategies to achieve set goals.
  9. Providing analytic board/management reports for key decision-making by top executives
  10. Budget Planning and Monitoring for the Private Banking & Wealth Management business in Nigeria & the Subco’s
  11. Coordinating periodic performance review meetings and following-up on the implementation of action plans.

Job Requirements
Education:

  1. First Degree in any Business-related Discipline.
  2. Possession of higher degree or post graduate education is an added advantage.

Experience:

  1. 10 plus years cognate experience. Experience with strategic and business development. Strong consulting and financial background.
  2. Experience in Business Development Support or Strategic Planning.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
  4. Experience in Performance Management.
