Job Position: Business Strategy Executive

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Business Strategy Executive will play a key role in formulating and executing strategic initiatives that drive growth and profitability across various business lines. The individual will collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement strategies that span multiple sectors, including investment, real estate, travel, commodity trading, and banking.

Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement business strategies across diverse sectors (estate management, travel, commodity trading, etc.) to enhance organizational growth and market presence.
  • Identify new investment opportunities and manage current investment portfolios to maximize returns.
  • Conduct market analysis, competitor research, and SWOT analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Product Development & Management:

  • Drive the development and expansion of product offerings in import/export, real estate, and other key business areas.
  • Develop strategies to diversify the company’s portfolio and enter new markets.

Investment & Financial Analysis:

  • Evaluate potential investment opportunities, conduct risk assessments, and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and performance tracking across multiple business units.

Sales & Marketing:

  • Lead marketing initiatives, including the creation of strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth in estate management, travel, and commodity trading.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to improve lead generation and conversion across various sectors.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, partners, and government entities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Operations, etc.) to ensure smooth implementation of strategic initiatives.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance in all sectors, including banking, travel, real estate, and commodity trading.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to the business.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree in Business Management or relevant discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategic role within sectors such as real estate management, travel, commodity trading, or banking.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing, investment management, and product knowledge in import/export.
  • Age between 35-40 years.
  • Experience working in multinational environments or across various industries is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and CRM systems.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of commodity trading, estate management, and banking.
  • Ability to manage multiple business units and handle complex projects.
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
