Job Position: Guard – Cement Industry, DCP

Job Location: Gboko, Benue

Job Description

  1. Responsible for the protection of Equipment and Sand material at the River Sand Quarry.
  2. To protect life and property of the Company whether at the River Sand Quarry or at the Plant.
  3. To report any incident when on duty.
  4. To make sure that unsafe work is not carried out.
  5. To make sure that the Company rules are interpreted and properly followed accordingly at the Site.
  6. To disallow unauthorized person(s) into the River Sand Premises.
  7. To ensure that hazardous materials are disposed off at the appropriate areas.
  8. Ensure necessary PPEs are used on regular basis.
  9. Attend the daily Tool Box Talk at the resumption of operation.
  10. To sanitize the River Sand Site on regular basis and ensure unwanted grasses are properly cut/trimmed and ensure house-keeping are well kept.
  11. Perform other functions as may be may be deployed from time to time.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidates should possess an SSCE or its equivalent.
  2. A minimum of two (2) years experience in any security outfit.
  3. Trade Test 1 with Eight (8) years experience in any security outfit
  4. Written and Verbal Communication
  5. Lifting and Surveillance Skills
  6. Knowledge of Basic Security and Fire Inspection Procedures.
  7. Manage Multiple Tasks.
  8. Knowledge of Security Operations and Procedure.
  9. Interpersonal Skills.
  10. Following Complex Instructions.
