Job Position: Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA certified)
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

The Chartered Accountant will oversee all financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting and control.

The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, leadership qualities, and extensive experience managing finance functions within QSRs, hospitality, or related industries.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  2. Prepare and present accurate financial statements, management reports, and performance analyses.
  3. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
  4. Develop and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
  5. Coordinate and manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
  6. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
  7. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
  8. Monitor cost control measures and ensure optimal allocation of financial resources.
  9. Support business expansion and investment decisions through financial modelling and analysis.
  10. Supervise the finance team, ensuring professional development and adherence to best accounting practices.

Requirements, Skills and Competencies

  1. ICAN or ACCA certification (mandatory).
  2. 10 years of proven experience as a Finance Manager, Chief Accountant, or CFO within the hospitality or QSR sector.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting standards.
  4. Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  6. Must possess extensive experience in financial management and reporting.
  7. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and project management skills.
