Job Position: Experienced Chartered Accountant

Job Description

  • We seek to hire a Chartered Experienced Accountant with a Account Consulting background who will work in the finance Team.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Maintenance of books of accounts and compiling financial statements
  2. Creating, processing of invoices and refunds to Clients
  3. Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
  4. Managing a company’s accounts payable and receivable
  5. Tracking organization expenses
  6. Working with collection agencies on overdue payments
  7. Manage suppliers accounts including generation of various evaluation report for the firm
  8. Participate in budgeting processes
  9. Participate in preparation of financial records
  10. Reconciliation of accounts and balances
  11. Performing general financial calculations.
  12. Analysing financial data to provide organisations with information that will assist in future planning and decision-making.
  13. Ensuring compliance with relevant financial laws and regulations.
  14. Proffer advisory backed by accounting principles to improve record keeping.
  15. Other Job that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirement

  1. BSc in Accounting, or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ work experience as an Accountant or Finance Officer
  3. Must be ACCA or ACA holder
  4. Work experience with an Account Consulting Firm will be an added advantage
  5. Available to resume as soon as possible.

Required Competencies:

  1. General business knowledge
  2. Work experience in Chartered Account Consulting Firm
  3. Up-to-date technology expertise e.g Advance excel, Quickbooks, Microsoft 365 etc
  4. Indepth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different personalities and cross-functional teams.
  6. Adaptability and flexibility
  7. Outstanding critical thinking, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Good attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  9. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
  10. Good interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
  11. Conscientious and efficient in meeting commitments, observing deadlines, and achieving results.
  12. Integrity and transparency in dealing with management, colleagues, clients, Suppliers and other individuals that you may come in contact with while carrying out your duties.

Salary
N300,000 / month.
