Job Location: Ago Iwoye, Ogun

Job Responsibilities

  1. Plan and execute a diverse and innovative menu that meets the highest quality standards
  2. Prepare and cook dishes with precision and attention to detail
  3. Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure adherence to recipes and proper food-handling techniques
  4. Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal and special event menus
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring all necessary ingredients are available for smooth operations
  6. Follow strict hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen
  7. Continuously strive to improve culinary techniques and stay updated with the latest trends in the industry

Job Requirements:

  1. A Culinary Arts Degree or equivalent certification is preferred
  2. Proven track record of successful menu planning and execution
  3. Food safety and sanitation certification is highly desirable
  4. Proficiency in menu costing and inventory management systems.

Other Requirements:

  1. Proven experience working as a Chef in a reputable establishment
  2. Extensive knowledge of various culinary styles, techniques, and international cuisines
  3. Ability to create visually appealing and delectable dishes that delight guests
  4. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a kitchen team
  5. Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  6. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
  7. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, ensuring their proper use and maintenance
  8. Ability to adapt to changing demands and work well under pressure.
