Job Position: Chemical Analyst
Location: Ilorin, Kwara

Job Responsibilities & Duties

  1. Perform chemical tests and analysis on a variety of materials
  2. Record and interpret data, draw conclusions and make recommendations based on results
  3. Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, samples, and solutions
  4. Ensure the accuracy of results through proper methodologies and quality control procedures
  5. Write technical reports to document results and communicate findings to stakeholders
  6. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems
  7. Stay up-to-date with new technologies, methodologies and regulatory changes
  8. Report to the production pharmacist
  9. Any other duties assigned by the production pharmacist.

Job Qualifications & Skills

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field
  2. Experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals or environmental analysis
  3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a chemical analysis role
  4. Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and quality control measures
  5. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment, software and data analysis tools
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  8. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
