Position: NMA Postgraduate Internship Program
Location: Lagos

About the Program

  1. CNL’s internship program is a part of Chevron’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and supporting the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme.
  2. The program provides learning opportunities for Nigerian students pursuing undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate degrees.
  3. The program is designed to enable students to build and demonstrate technical knowledge, develop new skills and contribute effectively in a professional environment.
  4. ​As an Intern you will work on varied assignments in line with your discipline and/or research work. You will report to a supervisor who will assign day to day tasks and oversee your growth and development.
  5. This program offers valuable industry and functional insights through hands-on experience, mentorship, learning from professionals at the company and other curated opportunities.

Eligibility

  1. The program is open only to Nigerian students studying in-country or overseas.
  2. Candidates must be currently enrolled in an academic program leading to a Master’s degree, Doctorate degree and/or postgraduate professional qualification.
  3. Research and/or Industry experience must be a requirement to complete your program.

Requirements

  1. Prospective candidates will be required to obtain a recommendation letter from their institutions, which must be submitted with the internship application.
  2. The program has a minimum duration of 6 months with a maximum of 12 months for a Master’s degree, and 24 months for a Doctorate
  3. All applications must be submitted online through the application portal.
  4. Include research areas and/or areas of interest.
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. All applicants will go through a shortlisting process, which will include aptitude tests and/or interviews. Selections will be strictly based on performance and available space.
