Job Position: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Lagos

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance function and drive sustainable financial growth.

The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing financial leadership, business insight, and operational excellence to support strategic decision-making and long-term value creation.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to the company’s executive management team.
  2. Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  3. Develop and implement financial strategies that support business objectives and profitability.
  4. Manage investor relations, external audits, and relationships with financial institutions and regulatory bodies.
  5. Ensure compliance with all tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
  6. Analyse financial results and performance, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimisation and revenue growth.
  7. Oversee risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance processes.
  8. Lead financial due diligence for investments, mergers, or acquisitions.
  9. Mentor and manage the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Professional certification, such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA, is required.
  3. An MBA or a Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration is an added advantage.
  4. Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  5. Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and business strategy.
  6. Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
  7. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  8. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.

Salary
N1,000,000 / Month.
