Job Position: Chief Operating Officer
Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos

Job Description
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for providing visionary leadership and strategic direction across all business units of the Group, with a strong focus on Real Estate Development, Construction, and property technology solutions.

The COO will oversee business operations, drive innovation, ensure profitability, and align the company’s goals with emerging market opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to achieve growth and profitability objectives across all group subsidiaries (Real Estate, Construction, and Aviation).
  2. Oversee feasibility, funding, and execution of large-scale construction and smart development projects.
  3. Ensure optimal performance of all departments: Construction, Finance, HR, Tech, Sales/Marketing, and Client Services.
  4. Monitor and improve cross-functional collaboration between Construction teams, Tech units (ERP, CRM, smart infrastructure) and Back-End Office.
  5. Drive operational excellence by establishing KPIs and performance benchmarks across subsidiaries.
  6. Champion the integration of technology across the group’s operations (including smart homes,
  7. virtual site inspections, and CRM/ERP systems).
  8. Oversee product development teams in designing scalable digital solutions for customer and internal use.
  9. Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
  10. Review construction progress, quality control, project timelines, and cost performance.
  11. Ensure adherence to building regulations, legal standards, and health & safety compliance.
  12. Direct financial planning and analysis, capital structure, cash flow, and investment strategies.
  13. Build good relationships with financial institutions, investors, and key stakeholders.
  14. Ensure cost-efficiency, value engineering, and profitability of each business vertical.
  15. Maintain strong corporate governance, ensuring legal, regulatory, and ethical compliance.
  16. Identify potential risks (financial, operational, and reputational) and deploy mitigation strategies.
  17. Report to the Board of Directors on overall performance, risk, and compliance issues.
  18. Build and lead a high-performing executive team across the group.
  19. Drive organisational culture centred on innovation, integrity, performance, and inclusiveness.
  20. Lead executive succession planning and employee engagement at all levels.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Advanced Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus)
  2. Minimum of 12–15 years of senior leadership experience in real estate, construction, or technology-related sectors
  3. Proven track record of leading large, multi-disciplinary teams and delivering major real estate or infrastructure projects
  4. Strong understanding of digital transformation in real estate/construction.
