Job Position: Chief Operating Officer
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Chief Operating Officer who will oversee its operational execution, logistics workflows, and multi-department coordination.

They will drive efficiency across rider operations, dispatch systems, and customer service while maintaining profitability and service reliability.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead end-to-end daily operations, ensuring timely deliveries and SLA compliance.
  2. Develop and enforce SOPs for dispatch, rider management, and client onboarding.
  3. Monitor operational KPIs (delivery success rate, average delivery time, cost per trip).
  4. Coordinate with Finance, Rider Ops, and CX teams to align performance targets
  5. Develop regional expansion strategy and operational scaling plans.
  6. Manage budgets, vendor contracts, and logistics partnerships.
  7. Ensure compliance with transport, EV, and safety regulations.
  8. Responsible for the overall Company revenue

Person Specification

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Logistics, or Business Management.
  2. 8–12 years in transport/logistics; experience in courier/ transport/ logistics companies is preferred.
  3. Proven experience managing large fleets and multi-site logistics.
  4. Strong analytical and leadership skills
  5. MBA is seriously considered.

Salary
N1,200,000 annually.
