Job Position: Civil / Building Engineer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Brief

We are urgently looking for a Civil/Building Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of residential and commercial real estate projects.

The role involves ensuring that all building developments are structurally sound, aesthetically aligned with design concepts, cost-efficient, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Plan, design, and oversee the construction of buildings and related infrastructure for real estate projects.
  2. Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure feasibility, functionality, and compliance with building standards.
  3. Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities to ensure quality, cost, and timeline targets are achieved.
  4. Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and provide input on design and materials selection.
  5. Collaborate with architects, quantity surveyors, contractors, and developers to ensure successful project execution.
  6. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  7. Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and technical reports.
  8. Monitor project progress and report milestones, challenges, and solutions to the Project Manager.
  9. Inspect and approve work quality, materials, and structural components before handover.
  10. Provide technical support during project planning, construction, and post-construction phases.

Requirements / Qualifications

  1. BSc./B.Eng. in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related discipline.
  2. COREN certification or registration in progress is an advantage.
  3. Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in real estate development, construction supervision, or structural design.
  4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or related engineering software.
  5. Strong understanding of construction materials, building codes, and structural integrity principles.
  6. Excellent coordination, project management, and site supervision skills.
  7. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.

N180,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
