Job Description

  1. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas sector.
  2. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Conduct site assessments and surveys to identify project requirements and constraints.
  2. Develop detailed engineering designs, including site layouts, foundations, and structural elements, considering environmental and safety factors.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering aspects into overall project plans.
  4. Prepare project cost estimates and timelines, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  5. Oversee construction activities, ensuring quality control and compliance with design specifications.
  6. Monitor and manage project progress, identifying and resolving issues to meet project deadlines.
  7. Coordinate with regulatory agencies to secure necessary approvals and permits.
  8. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  9. Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and stakeholders.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in civil engineering for the oil and gas sector.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
  • 7 years plus of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on oil and gas projects.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving a nd decision-making abilities.
