Job Position: Client Support Officer
Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks.
  2. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
  3. Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting and resolving IT-related problems.
  4. Ensure security of IT systems, including data backup, antivirus protection, and access controls.
  5. Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  6. Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.
  7. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to understand IT needs and requirements.
  9. Plan and execute IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and installations.
  10. Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  2. Only candidates with IT experience and who have worked as a Client Support Officer should apply.
  3. Proven experience in IT support or administration.
  4. Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  6. Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  7. Knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
  8. Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  10. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  11. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
