Job Position: Commercial Finance Manager
Location: Lagos City, Lagos

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to provide financial leadership, guide commercial decision-making, and support business profitability across our operations.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and deep experience in fast-paced environments.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for commercial functions
  2. Analyse sales performance, pricing, trade spend, and market trends to support strategic growth
  3. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams to drive commercial efficiency
  4. Evaluate financial risks, opportunities, and cost structures to support decision-making
  5. Provide detailed financial insights to improve margin performance and revenue optimisation
  6. Ensure compliance with financial policies, reporting standards, and governance requirements
  7. Drive continuous improvement in financial controls and commercial processes

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or professional certification is an added advantage — ACCA, ACA, CFA)
  2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Business Finance roles
  3. Proven experience in FMCG or similar high-volume, data-driven industries
  4. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  5. Exceptional business partnering and communication abilities
  6. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence strategic decisions
  7. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel/financial tools.
