Job Description

  2. We want you to have prior expertise with social media, public relations, and promotional events.

Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities will include:

  1. Develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs and projects to promote The Nest alumni (community) relations and educational programs designed to connect alumni (The Nest Community / Nesters) with support programs and services to help their businesses grow and scale.
  2. Plan, coordinate, and attend community member events, meetings, and other activities relating to community management and engagement, which may include alumni recognition programs, and business and professional programs.
  3. Develop brand communication strategy and expand the company’s digital footprint & brand awareness
  4. Manage & coordinate the online chat groups, interacting with the community to increase positive engagement
  5. Develop and implement continued education and continued support programs for community members in interactive business programs, including workshops, training, advisory, and support services.
  6. Represent The Nest at various external entrepreneurial/SME/Startup-focused meetings, committees, and task forces to identify potential programs for the community and also engage stakeholders with external programs and/or policies.
  7. Develop, sustain, and strengthen Nestlings School chapters, particularly across various universities, which focus on establishing and maintaining connections across programs.
  8. Actively develop and maintain proactive relationships with the community members through offering continued value to the community in their personal and professional lives.
  9. Manage and update a comprehensive database of all Nest community members
  10. Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams

Job equirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Arts and Humanities or any Social Science discipline from an accredited University.
  2. A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in community relations and providing members support services within the non-profit, social enterprise, or development sector.
  3. Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse multicultural community.
  4. Ability to design and write promotional material as well as plan and implement promotional programs.
  5. Ability to plan, organize, and facilitate a range of special events.
  6. Ability to think strategically, manage and solve complex problems.
  7. Strong digital literacy and data management skills.
  8. Very strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  9. Very good presentation and report writing skills.
  10. Very strong interest and passion for the non-profit or development sector.
