Job Position: Content Creator / SEO Specialist

Job Location: Abuja (Hybrid)

Job Description

  1. We are seeking a qualified Content Creator/SEO Specialist who will be responsible for creating high-quality content, develop great content strategies along with implementing effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
  2. This role involves creating engaging and informative content for various digital platforms, optimizing content for search engines, conducting keyword research, and analyzing website performance.
  3. The Content Creator/SEO Specialist should have a strong understanding of content creation, SEO best practices, and the ability to analyze and optimize content for maximum visibility in search engines.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop a content strategy and conforms and set out to achieve company goals
  2. Research and come-up with creative content that can enhance the effectiveness of Data2Bots online content
  3. Plan, design, create, and publish relevant content based on company’s objectives and user needs, with focus on usability as well as eye-catching graphics and words
  4. Create high-quality, engaging, and informative content for various digital platforms, including blogs, website pages,  video creation on social media, and other marketing materials
  5. Conduct keyword research to identify relevant keywords and topics for content creation
  6. Optimize content for search engines, including on-page and off-page optimization techniques
  7. Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and provide recommendations for optimization
  8. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings
  9. Stay up-to-date with SEO best practices, industry trends, and search engine algorithm changes
  10. Conduct competitor analysis and research to identify opportunities for content optimization and improvement
  11. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including subject-matter experts and the marketing team, to gather input and insights for content creation
  12. Proofread and edit content for accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines
  13. Provide regular reports and updates on SEO performance and content metrics to the marketing team and senior management
  14. Any other responsibilities may be assigned.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  2. Must Reside in Abuja
  3. Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in content creation and SEO, preferably in a corporate or agency setting
  4. Strong writing skills with the ability to create high-quality content that is engaging, informative, and optimized for search engines
  5. Knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO
  6. Familiarity with SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO keyword research tools
  7. Understanding of website analytics and ability to analyze data to make data-driven decisions
  8. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML
  9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  11. Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  12. Familiarity with IT consulting industry and related technologies is a plus.
