Job Position: Digital Marketer and Content Creator
Job Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Job Description
- As the Digital marketer & content creator, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing and editing content for the company which will be published in the company’s websites and social media pages.
- You will also be responsible for researching on the key SEO terms and implementing them in the content to gain maximum exposure.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and create engaging and SEO- friendly contents for the company’s website, email marketing and social media accounts, using tools like Canva, Affinity Design, and Mail Chimp
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for the organization
- Conduct research on keywords, hashtags, themes, topics, and online media opportunities that may benefit the company incorporating them into the content to achieve maximum viewership
- Plan and direct marketing campaigns
- Provide accurate reports on website and campaigns, in order to optimize performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Brainstorming and suggesting new ways to improve the traffic by tapping into new platforms and channels
- Ensure that the content is compliant with the copyright and data protection laws
- Maintain consistency in content and ensure alignment with the company’s history and plans
- Identify customers’ needs in relation to the company and write content to cater those needs
- Update the website, social media and content pages periodically
- Effectively use all marketing tools and techniques like PPC, SEO, SEM, email, social media, and display advertising
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- A Degree in the Social Sciences or relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in a similar role.
Competence / Skills:
- Proficiency in using tools like Canva, Affinity Design, and Mail Chimp
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Corel draw and other design packages in creating content
- Exceptional Creativity and Innovation
- Multi-project management skills, adhering to timelines and performing under pressure to achieve the targets
- Ability to pay attention to detail along with a creative mind
- Developed team working skills to collaborate with various departments and work in alignment with them
- Ability to maintain consistency in their content writing
- Ability to understand and cater to the needs of customers and discover the potential markets for the company
- Excellent time management and planning skills to ensure meeting deadlines
- Have an understanding of UI/UX design
- Have an analytics mindset to analyse what type of customer are attracted to what content and then analysing a target market
- Ability to communicate the message in simple and beautiful language which will attract audience
- Experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new business.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, editing and oral communications in English language
- Excellent graphic design skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
