Job Position: Content Marketing and Community Manager

Job Description

  • We are looking for a talented Content marketing and community manager to build and grow our platform for more cx conversations in Africa.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Engage with our visitors and prospects (live chat, marketing automation)
  2. Produce high-quality content to educate our audience, primarily executives, middle managers, and sales reps (product videos, guides, infographics, blog posts)
  3. Interact with external channels (social networks, news site and forum), press relations
  4. Organize virtual events, meetings, etc.
  5. Increase our weekly presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, with high quality content
  6. Organically grow our follower count by engaging the wider community on social media, participating in group/community conversations where exposure of our brand or sharing thought leadership can attract quality followers to our pages
  7. Work closely with the website developer to update the website with quality content and landing pages that help convert leads into buyers
  8. Collaborate with digital media houses to publish our press release and blog posts
  9. Create in partnership with a selective press house new content related to the customer experience as a guest editor
  10. Find creative ways to grow our newsletter on a monthly basis (20% MoM growth) mainly from Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism or a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • Autonomous, quick learner (there are many areas to learn related to experience management)
  • Good copywriter (content is king). We are a technology company building a customer experience management platform.
  • You must have an interest in this market.
  • Proven work experience as a content marketer
  • Understanding web publishing requirements
  • Editorial mind with an ability to predict audience preferences
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Expertise in social media platforms
  • Project management skills and attention to detail.
