Job Position: Content Writer

Job Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Description

  • The ideal candidate possesses a passion for writing and the innovative ability to create successful marketing campaigns and aid in creating company growth.
  • You will be working with a team responsible for generating exciting and compelling stories on digital media. You will be responsible for writing and publishing in different styles and directions to guide users and motivate them to use our products and services.

Job Responsibilities
The preferred candidate will:

  1. Do some industry-related research (combining online sources, healthcare, and telemedicine studies)
  2. Someone whos passionate and experienced in content writing.
  3. Utilize content management systems to create well-organized drafts.
  4. Edit and proofread blog content before publishing.
  5. Work together on illustrating content with the marketing and design departments.
  6. Determine the content’s gaps and the needs of our audience before suggesting new topics.
  7. Ensure uniformity throughout (style, fonts, images, and tone)

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an NCE, OND, Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or relevant fields.
  • 1 – 4 years of work experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role.
  • Portfolio of published articles.
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Word Press).

Skill Requirements:

  1. Passionate content writers who are interested in writing for a health wordpress site.
  2. Must be curious, innovative, and knowledgeable about a broad range of topics.
  3. Good communication skills.
  4. The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  5. Working knowledge of content management systems.
  6. Excellent writing and editing skills.
  7. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  8. Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
  9. Ability to meet deadlines.
  10. A keen eye for detail.
