Job Position: Content Writer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description
Working under our New Head of Content, you will be responsible for:

  1. Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
  2. Create, curate, and manage all media content (images, video and written).
  3. Create, manage and promote Social ad campaigns.
  4. Analyse key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
  5. Research trends and topics
  6. Write clear media and marketing copy to promote our products/services
  7. Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
  8. Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
  9. Submit work to Head of Content for input and approval
  10. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  11. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  12. Promote content on social media
  13. Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  14. Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
  15. Update website content as needed.

Job Requirements

  1. Must be a University Degree Holder
  2. Minimum of 3 years media writing and presenting experience.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Ability to work in a team and individually to achieve set goals.
  5. Experience of presenting
