Job Position: Content Writer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. We’re looking for a creative Content Writer with experience writing for a news, tech, or finance brand.
  2. You’d be a great fit for this role if you pay attention to detail, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and you’re passionate about writing that has a Nigerian context and can appeal to millennials and zoomers.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Plan content development and manage Kuda’s editorial calendar
  2. Create compelling, grammatically correct and thoroughly researched articles, landing page content, blog posts, and social media content
  3. Optimise content to meet SEO best practices
  4. Manage the Kuda Help Centre
  5. Proofread and edit content from teams across Kuda
  6. Research and stay up-to-date with Nigerian and global fintech trends and news
  7. Learn our brand tone and use it flawlessly in content development.

Job Requirements

  1. At least three (3) years’ experience writing for a known tech, news or finance brand
  2. Strong writing and editing skills
  3. Excellent attention to detail
  4. An understanding of digital content strategy
  5. A proveable knowledge of SEO best practices including keyword research and integration
  6. A passion for fintech and writing for a Nigerian audience
  7. Excellent people and verbal communication skills
  8. Experience with content management systems would be a bonus.
