Job Description

  1. Are you interested in the personal finance or business space? Do you combine authority and creativity in your writing style?
  2. Meedsy is seeking an Intern to research and write useful, engaging articles that help our readers make better decisions.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Writes with authority and creativity on a particular Meedsy focused-category subject or subjects
  2. Uses analytics and research to adjust approaches to content
  3. Does effective keyword research and uses it in conceptualization and writing
  4. Works effectively with editors on ideation, research, and writing
  5. Thinks comprehensively about the story, working with colleagues who can offer visual and data components to improve the reader’s experience.

Job Requirements

  1. Good writing skill
  2. Some working knowledge of SEO
  3. Working knowledge of social media
  4. Knowledge of Gimp, PhotoShop or similar tools will be an added advantage
  5. Some working knowledge of Google Analytics and/or other analytics platforms
  6. Communicates and collaborates effectively with editors and other colleagues
  7. Demonstrates a positive, can-do spirit and contributes to a good work environment
  8. Shows flexibility and resourcefulness when obstacles arise
  9. Seeks out feedback as a way to improve and grow their skills
  10. Some WordPress experience.
