Job Description

  • To work with a team of writers and designers to curate compelling and accurate content for the company.
  • This involves following the content strategy, proofreading and editing, and collaborating with co-workers to deliver quality projects on time.

Job Responsibilities

  • Proofread and edit text at various stages of the editorial writing process.
  • Understand and consistently reflect the brand voice of the company in writing style.
  • Fine-tune the writing style of analysts, freelancers, and columnists for articles to be published.
  • Ensure that articles are easy to read and succinct in delivery.
  • Guarantee that there are no typographical and grammatical errors in all publications online.
  • Stay updated on trends in content and style related to society, politics, business, and financial news reporting.
  • Collaborate with the assigned text editor to implement style and other changes for clarity or readability.
  • Consult with the article’s researcher and other team members, including writers, design editors, and graphics editors, as needed.
  • Monitor the internal discussion board for style questions.
  • Keep track of an article’s production schedule to ensure compliance with deadlines.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 – 4 years experience.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 monthly.
