HK Designs Limited is an Architectural, Construction and interior outfit with the sole aim of providing highly specialised, value-added, integrated services for all major business markets, both private and public sectors.

Job Position: Creative Graphics Artist
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Interpreting the business/clients’ design needs and developing a concept to suit the design/content.
  2. Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and designs.
  3. Liaising with clients and the necessary team to discuss the design requirements.
  4. Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD), whilst updating with necessary skills such as QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash
  5. Illustrate concept by designing a rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size/style and related concepts
  6. Obtaining approval of the concept by submitting a rough layout for approval
  7. Preparing final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
  8. Estimating the time required to complete the job and ensuring that the specified deadlines are met.
  9. Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research
  10. Presenting the finalised design and concepts and making any amendments if necessary
  11. Working on layouts and artwork pages ready for print
  12. Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists.
  13. Perform other related duties as required.

Qualification / Experience

  1. B.Sc. or Master’s in Graphic Design, Fine Art or any related field with 3 – 5 years working experience in creative designs.
  2. Knowledge of CAD, highly creative, reside in the Mainland environs. An additional / Higher qualification can be an added advantage.

Skills:

  1. Graphics design and presentation skills
  2. Attention to detail and listening skills are key.
  3. Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  4. Ability to work with tight deadlines and meet targets
  5. Proficient in Microsoft packages: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  6. Working knowledge of design software and technologies – Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
  7. High level of creativity, imagination and vision
  8. Organisational, project management and planning skills
  9. Highly committed to work
  10. An eye for detail.
  11. Excellent communication skills

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
